Trauma Sensitive Yoga

Sunday July 25, 2021 @ 3pm
Public · Hosted by Healing Grace Perinatal Hospice
Online Event

We are happy to annouce another session of trauma-sensitive yoga event. Dr. Ariel Goodman, a licensed trauma-sensitive yoga instructor and mental health counselor, will be providing a Zoom workshop at 3PM on Sunday, Jauly 25th for members of our community! This workshop will provide a short overview of Trauma-Sensitive Yoga/movement and invite you to experience a movement practice in the safety of your own home with your Zoom camera turned off. This yoga workshop will be different from what you might find at a local yoga studio. You will be guided through a series of gentle movements, with no “correct” postures or praise for flexibility. The goal of TSY is to engage the whole organism in the healing process—body, mind, and spirit. If you have any questions about the workshop, please contact Ariel directly at agood018@plattsburgh.edu.
